Vibrant Winter Juice With Beetroot, Carrot, Orange & Pomegranate
This energizing winter juice combines the earthy sweetness of beetroot with the zesty freshness of carrots, oranges, ginger and pomegranate. Ingredients (Serves 2-4)
2–3 fresh beetroot, peeled and cut into 3-4 cm pieces
3 large carrots, peeled and cut into 3-4 cm pieces
2–3 oranges, peeled and cut into 3-4 cm pieces
20g piece of ginger (adjust to taste), peeled and cut into 3-4 cm pieces
4 tbsp pomegranate seeds
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients
1. Peel and cut the beetroot, carrots, oragnes and ginger into 3-4 cm pieces.
2. If you’re using fresh pomegranate, carefully extract the seeds. I bought a pack containing only the seeds to make this process easier.
Step 2: Juice the Ingredients
1. Add the beetroot, carrots, orange giner, and pomegranate into a juicer. I am using a Hurom slow juicer but any juicer will do.
2. If you don’t have a juicer, use a high-speed blender, then strain the juice to remove pulp.
Step 3: Serve & Enjoy
1. Pour the juice into glasses.
2. Optionally, add some ice cubes to chill. I never use ice cubes in fresh juices though as I generally prefer drinking liquids at room temperature.
